Victor was incredible. He was endorsing products for MHP and one ad photo was crazier than the next. He was big with tremendous symmetry. Judging in the IFBB has always been plagued with controversy. I had the opportunity to speak with him briefly in 2008 and he was a very friendly, down-to-earth guy. IMO he'll always be one of the best regardless of not being awarded a Mr. Olympia title.

Arnold was the cockiest sob ever but the guy put in the time in the gym and achieved the goals he set! Very disciplined goal oriented man! Love him hate him one can't deny how great of a physique he built, just look at him in that 74 competition with Lou, Lou was physically bigger yet onstage, Arnold destroyed him! I don't believe Lou ever recovered from that loss!

Yeah, many people felt the same when Jay Cutler was robbed in the 2001 Mr Olympia…Arnold winning the 1980 Mr Olympia…Kai vs. Phil. Politics sucks and unfortunately corruption prevails in anything that involves big $. Best to just do it for yourself and don’t care about competing because usually the best never wins…the revenue popular favorite does and those in power will admit it openly nowadays. Sad, but lesson learned?….life is not fair.

Keep in mind that 75% of the reason they looked the way they did was because they used illegal drugs. Without them, they wouldn't have looked remotely the same (I've worked with competitors for years and when they are off the naughty sauce for any extended period, not only do they shrink away, they lose most motivation to work out).
